Seller: Austin Insurance Group LLC, doing business as Touchstone Alarm, Indianapolis, Indiana.

 

What you're buying

Touchstone is a cast concrete object with a passive NFC tag inside, and a free companion app for iPhone and Android. The app sets alarms on your phone; the stone is how you turn them off. The app is free and has no subscription. Nothing about the stone requires an account.

 

What it is not

Touchstone is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat or manage any condition. It is an alarm clock. Like every alarm on a phone, it depends on your phone being on, charged, and set up as the app's setup guide describes. We cannot guarantee you will wake up, and we are not responsible for anything that follows from a missed alarm. Please keep whatever backup you'd keep with any other alarm.

 

What you need

An iPhone 11 or later on iOS 26 or later, or an Android phone with NFC. Android needs NFC switched on. The app tells you where to hold the phone; the antenna sits in a different place on every phone.

 

Price and payment

The price shown at checkout is the price, plus any sales tax we're required to collect. Payment is processed by Shopify Payments; we never see or store your card number.

 

Shipping

Each stone is cast by hand in Indiana, one at a time. We ship within the United States only, with tracking, by USPS. Risk of loss passes when the carrier marks it delivered. If we can't ship to your address, we'll tell you and refund you.

 

The object

Every stone is different. Small marks, pits and variations in shade are the concrete's own and are not defects. Concrete chips if dropped on a hard floor; that's not covered.

 

The app and the stone's serial

When you pair a stone, the app sends the tag's factory serial number to our server to confirm it's a genuine Touchstone. That's the only thing it sends. See the Privacy Policy.

 

Limited Warranty

If a stone arrives damaged, or its tag stops reading within one year of delivery under normal use, we replace it or refund it, our choice. Email hello@touchstonealarm.com with your order number and a photo. This warranty does not cover drops, chips, drilling, gluing or painting. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including a missed alarm, and our total liability is limited to the price you paid. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.

Everything else

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; the version at the time of your order is the one that applies to it.
